✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Nitrit ist in verdünnten wäßrigen Lösungen nicht beständig. Verwendet man z. B. Nitrit als Inhibitor, um vor Rost zu schützen, muß man daher die Konzentration analytisch überwachen. Die üblichen unspezifischen oxydimetrischen Methoden können in Gegenwart oxydierter Stoffe nicht angewendet werden und führen leicht zu Fehlern. Dagegen ist die Reaktion zwischen Nitrit und Aminosulfonsäure (Sulfaminsäure) spezifisch und verläuft in saurer Lösung quantitativ. Das Analysenverfahren wird beschrieben.
