Synthesis of silver sulfanilamides 0.03 mole of the sulfanilamide were dissolved in a mixture of 30 ml of 1.0 N NaOH and 70 ml of water, with gentle heating. After dilution of the solution with water to 300 ml a solution of 0.03 mole of silver nitrate in 100 ml of water was added dropwise with stirring. After 1 hr. the white precipitate was separated, washed with water and dried at 120' C.

The synthesis of a silver compound with sulfaguanidine failed.
