## Abstract Lanthanide complexes LnL~2~(NO~3~)~3~ **3a–f** are obtained where Ln is La, Ce, Sm, Eu, Er, and Yb and L is the diethyl 2‐amino‐2‐oxoethylphosphonate. They were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy. Monodentate coordination by the phosphoryl group is suggested f
