✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A special cell for investigation of the alterations in the transmittance spectra of thin liquid films during their thinning has been designed. The cell described enables one to investigate liquid interlayers with thicknesses from 10 nm to a few microns. A method for the evaluation of thicknesses of film according to the transmittance spectra has been developed.
