✦ Synopsis

Pure samples of pyridinium hexafluorophosphate (C,H,&HPF;) were prepared by the reaction of pyridinium poly(hydrogen fluoride) and phosphorus(V)

halides. The i.r. spectral data in the range 40&4000 cm-' and 'H, 19F and " C NMR spectra for this compound are reported.
