β¦ Synopsis
I am delighted that the American Journal of Primatology is able to publish this single-topic issue devoted to primate seed dispersal. The seven papers in this issue examine the roles primates play in seed dispersal and predation, evaluate the ecological and evolutionary concomitants of such behavior, and integrate data on primate feeding behavior with theories of tropical ecology. I thank Joanna Lambert and Paul Garber for serving as guest editors of this single-topic issue. Each of the seven papers in this issue underwent the journal's peer review process and represents a new and significant contribution to the literature.
