Current-voltage characteristics of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) films fabricated on glass substrates by thermal evaporation technique in the metal-polymermetal sandwich configuration were studied. The vacuum-deposited PVDF films were predominantly of ␣ form. However, when subjected to high-volta
