Pressure-dependent solubility and diffusion coefficients for carbon dioxide in glassy polymers have been well described using the ''dual sorption and transport model.'' However, the plastisization effect by high-pressure carbon dioxide seems to promote the pressure dependence of the sorption and tra

The sorption and transport properties of C 0 2 in miscible PS/PVME blends at 20ยฐC are reported as a function of pressure from 1 to 15 atm. The complex shape of isotherms for glassy blends and the concentration-dependent diffusion coefficient for rubbery blends reveal a plasticization by sorbed COP.

The water sorption behavior and the activation energy were investigated for various chemical structure polyimide thin films; BPDA-PDA, BPDA-ODA, PMDA-ODA, and 6FDA-ODA. The activation energy for the water diffusion varied in the range of 5.53 to 9.27kcal/mol, and was in the increasing order: BPDA-PD
