## Abstract Various __N__‐nitrosamines were photolyzed in toluene solution in the temperature range −100°C to −30°C to yield dialkyl nitroxides. The nitrosamines studied were __N__‐nitrosodimethylamine, __N__‐nitrosodiethylamine, __N__‐nitrosodipropylamine, __N__‐nitrosodibutylamine and __N__‐nitro
