✦ Synopsis
The influence of the light on the electrochemical behavior of copper in the presence and absence of propargyl alcohol has been investigated in l.ON H,SO, supporting electrolyte solutions. Electrochemical methods confirm that the oxidation/reduction processes of the electrode and/or the organic compound can be affected by the illumination conditions of the system.

## Abstract The effect of copper (II) and chloride ions on the manganese (II) catalyzed iodate‐peroxide reaction has been examined with reference to the hydrogen peroxide‐iodic acid‐manganese (II)‐organic species oscillatory reaction. The observations are considered to provide evidence for iodine d
