The solvolys~s rates of t.butyl, I-adamantyl, 3-and l-homoadamantyl-p-nltrobenzoates in acetonitrlle-water (70:30 by weight) are reported and the relative rates are discussed. These are the first solvolysis constants for lor 3-homoadamantyl esters of deflnltely known structure.
