Abstract
The NMR spectra of pyridine, pyrazine and imidazole are examined in acetoneβd~6~. The differential shifts of the ring protons are accounted for in terms of an interaction between the lone pair on the ring nitrogen atom and the carbonyl group of acetone.

A recently developed method to calculate singlet and triplet gauge-originαindependent magnetic properties of solvated molecules is applied to the study of those parameters that determine an observed nuclear magnetic resonance signal: the magnetizability, the nuclear shieldings, and the indirect spin
Proton chemical shifts as well as solvent shifts induced by benzene in several amidoximes are examined with respect to their configuration and are compared to the solvent shifts induced in benzalanilines. The geometry of the benzene-solute 'collision-complex' is also discussed.
