The emf of the cell Pt, HZ, HBz(m), Hg,Bz2, Hg in formamide has been measured at 5Β°C intervals over the temperature range 5-45"C. The values of the standard potentials of the mercurymercurous benzoate electrode can be fitted in the firm of equation, obtained by using the least squares method: E" = 0
