A flow-through optosensor for tetracyclines based on the tetracycline-europium chelate room temperature phosphorescence energy transfer is proposed. The sensor is developed in conjunction with ti flow-injection analysis system and is based on the transient immobilization on a non-ionic resin (packed

β¦ Synopsis
This paper presents new determination methods for five tetracycline antibiotics by solid surface-room temperature phosphorescence with filter paper and polyamide membrane treated with sucrose as solid substrates and TlAc or TlNO, as heavy atom salts. Various factors affecting RTP intensity of tetracyclines, such as type of solid substrate, heavy atom effect, enhancement of modifier, pH, drying temperature, predrying and drying time of sample, were studied in detail. The linear dynamic ranges (LDRs) are from 0.50 to 200 ng, the limits of detection (LODs) are from 0.01 to 1.0 ng/spot, and the relative standard deviations are all < 5%.

Room temperature phosphorimetric studies were made on two important fluorescent probes: 8-~linonaph~~ene-lsulfonate (ANS) and 6-toluidinylnaphthalene-2-sulfonate (TNS). The two dyes gave proper RTP signals using solid-substrate room temperatnre phosphorimetry (SS-RTP) and micellar-stabilized room te
