โฆ Synopsis
Because of its complexity and presentation, the Software Communications Architecture is widely misunderstood and under-utilized. The main intention of the authors is to offer a recipe-based approach to use of the SCA in a PC-based context. With an example-oriented understanding of the usage of the SCA, you are able to extend the concepts and practice to more complicated multi-processor distributed environments. A specific benefit of the SCA is that the majority of application development can occur on a single host and that when the target hardware shows up a few script file changes allow the application to distribute without modifying the application software itself.
