TABLE 3 Measured Results of Multilayer Soft Porous Teflon Membranes Flattening Sample Teflon Polystyrene 4 4 2 1 2 length-varying method instead of the common but expensive frequency-varying method was used for measuring Q-factors in our experiments. Measurements on multilayer dielectrics and thin films were carried out, and encouraging results were achieved. The difficulties that limit the open resonator in measuring easily warped thin films can be overcome by flattening a heavy sample to eliminate air gaps. Further research work, such as error analysis, is being undertaken to improve measurement accuracy.

## Abstract A compact, apertureโcoupled, circularly polarized Fโslot microstrip antenna is proposed. The Fโslot is embedded in the square microstrip patch and fed using an apertureโcoupled feeding structure. The proposed antenna has a 4.87% (2.40โ2.52 GHz) 3 dB AR (axial ratio) bandwidth with a 14.
A noยจel design of a slotted triangular microstrip antenna for dual-frequency operation is proposed and experimentally studied. By embedding an inยจerted V-shaped slot close to the ยจertex of a triangular microstrip patch, dual-frequency operation of the microstrip antenna can be achieยจed using an inse
