Caffeine contractures were induced after Kkonditioning of skeletal muscles from pigs and mice. K+-conditioning is defined as the partial depolarization caused by increasing external potassium (K;) with [K+lx[CI-l constant. Conditioning depolarizations that rendered muscles refractory to brief electr
