Abstract

The concept of a novel single probe feed cavity backed circularly polarized antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide technique has been investigated in this article. The proposed antenna provides high circularly polarized radiation performance and keeps advantages of low profile and convenient fabrication. ยฉ 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The effect of dielectric loading in EC-SCPW on forwardcoupler characteristics has been studied. The dielectric loading increases the coupling coefficient and the frequency bandwidth, thus finding application in the propagation of narrow pulses. The size of the device can also be reduced considerably

## Abstract A meandering probeโ€fed circularly polarized stacked patch antenna with truncated corners is studied. The antenna has a wide 3โ€dB axial ratio bandwidth of 12%. It exhibits a stable radiation pattern across the axial ratio bandwidth. The antenna has low cross polarization and high gain, w
