✦ Synopsis

A polarographic method is described for the simultaneous determination of sodium bisulfite and iproniazid in gel formulations. The standard deviation for the bisulfite determination was *O.OO:% and the precision t s at the 95 z confidence level was +O.OO,%. The standard deviation for the iproniazid determination was +0.03z and the precision f s at the 95% confidence level was =kO.O7Z. Keyphrases 0 Iproniazid-bisulfite-simultaneous polarographic determination 0 Bisulfite-iproniazid-simultaneous polarographic determination 0 Polarography-simultaneous determination of iproniazid and bisulfite in gel formulations ~ 1 Metrohm E-354.

A simple design of a polarographic flow-through cell is proposed in which a conventional dropping mercury electrode (DME) is used as working electrode, and a mercury pool and a platinum wire are used as the reference and counter electrodes, respectively. The mercury droplets falling from the DME coa
