A simple design of a polarographic flow-through cell is proposed in which a conventional dropping mercury electrode (DME) is used as working electrode, and a mercury pool and a platinum wire are used as the reference and counter electrodes, respectively. The mercury droplets falling from the DME coa

β¦ Synopsis
The dc polarographic behavior of metronidazole is studied in McIlvaine buffers. The reduction is irreversible and exhibits two waves; the first is suitable for analytical purposes. The limiting current shows a linear dependence with the drug concentration in the range 0.02-1 mM. A new polarographic method is examined for determination of metionidazole in commercial tablets and human urine.

A polarographic method is described for the simultaneous determination of sodium bisulfite and iproniazid in gel formulations. The standard deviation for the bisulfite determination was \*O.OO:% and the precision t s at the 95 z confidence level was +O.OO,%. The standard deviation for the iproniazid
Different approaches for the colorimetric determination of acetaminophen, based on its coupling with diazotized o-nitroaniline, are described. Copper(II) chelation with the coupled compound makes the method highly selective. Sensitivity is increased when the acetaminophen assay is carried out indire
