✦ Synopsis
This paper reports on the simultaneous determination of hydrochlorothiazide and spironolactone from derivative quotient spectra with a standardized divisor and by use of multiwavelength regression calibration. Both methods were applied to synthetic mixtures and pharmaceutical preparations containing the two analytes using batch and flow injection systems. The results obtained with the two types of systems are compared. The resulting errors were nearly always less than 5%.
