Abstract

A high‐speed radio link, such as the LMDS (local multipoint distribution system), proves to be quite complex to simulate under OPNET modeler radio from the electromagnetic propagation point of view. This paper describes the introduction of a 3‐D radiation diagram in the simulation and integration of software computing the electromagnetic propagation, taking note of the multipath. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
