## Abstract The response characteristics of a new potentiometric membrane electrode with unique selectivity towards thiocyanate ion were reported. The electrode was prepared by incorporating bis‐taurine‐salicylic binuclear copper(II) complex into a plasticized PVC‐membrane. The resulting electrode
