β¦ Synopsis
The pure electronic transition frequencies in absorption and emission bands have been determined for anthracene and some anthracene derivatives when dissolved in a large number of polar and nonpolar solvents.
The shitts of the pure electronic transition frequencies when passing from vapour to binary and ternary solutions have been analysed by means of the existing theories based on structure models from the theory of dielectric liquid theory [1][2][3][4].
