β¦ Synopsis
A spectrophotometric method has been proposed for the sequential determination of molybdenum and tungsten in silicate rocks. The procedure proposed has been successfully used to determine molybdenum and tungsten in granite. The results show that this method can accurately determine molybdenum and tungsten down to the/~g g-i and sub-/xg g-i level with relative standard deviations of 1% and 3.5%, respectively.

A new catalytic kinetic method based on the decolorization reaction of rhodamine B has been established for the determination of copper in serum. In the presence of copper, rhodamine B can be oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in the NH 3 -NH 4 F medium. After each serum sample was digested with strong a

A new spectrophotometric method has been applied to the determination of zinc in bottled mineral water (with and without gas), refreshments, vinegar, and table salt. The method introduces the I-[di-(2-pyridyl)methylidene]-5-(salicylidene)-thiocarbohydrazone (DPST) as chromogenic reagent. This proced
