Abstract

It is shown that the frequency distribution of sequences of fine days conforms very closely to a β€˜logarithmic’ series. The sequences of β€˜wet’ days do not conform so closely, as there is a shortage of one‐day sequences and an excess of 2 to 4‐day sequences, but this may be due to the method of defining β€˜wet’ sequences.
