✦ Synopsis
Experimental results of the CT 2. peak between adjacent IQHE states are analyzed with respect to temperature and frequency scaling. Universal behaviour (AB cx TK, K M 0.4) is observed when effects of individual impurities near the 2DEG are negligible, IC FZ 0.2 is observed for peaks with unresolved spin splitting for filling factors up to 10.

## Abstract Charge transport through alkanes and __para__‐phenylene oligomers is investigated in large‐area molecular junctions. The molecules are self‐assembled in a monolayer and contacted with a top electrode consisting of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene)–poly(4‐styrenesulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS)
We have investigated impact ionization in semiconductors under hydrostatic pressure p, by measuring the avalanche breakdown voltage V b in InAs, Si, GaAs and Ge. The sign of dV b adp was determined by the dominant phonon scattering mechanism (polar or intervalley phonons). A quantitative comparison
