✦ Synopsis


Enantiomers can be separated by microcolumn liquid chromatography with methylated &cyclodextrin @-CD) as a mobile phase additive. Effects of the mobile phase composition on the retention behaviour of the analytes were examined. The separation factor achieved with heptakis(2,3,6-tri-0-methyl)+-CD as the chiral selector for l,l'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl hydrogenphosphate enantiomers was up to 3. Heptakis(2,6-di-0-methyl&&CD achieved poor enantioselectivities for the enantiomers examined.
