## Abstract With the advent of sentinel node (sN) biopsy in melanoma patients, elective lymph node dissection (ELND) can be considered an exceeded procedure. Regardless of the possible therapeutic benefits, sN biopsy efficiently predicts prognosis avoiding the morbidity rate of ELND. The importance
