โฆ Synopsis
Tbe sensitivity of performance index with respect to parameter variations in the state equation of optimally designed linear time-delay systems is discussed by introducing the concept of p-sensitivity for such systems. Two cases are considered depending on the nature of these variations. In one case the delay portion of the state equation is ignored completely, while in the other, the delay itself is set equal to zero. For both types of variations conditions for p-sensitivity are obtained. Two examples illustrate the application of the results. The effects of parameter variations on the stability of perturbed system are also considered.
