โฆ Synopsis
Swnmary--This paper examines the problem of evaluating linear system sensitivity with respect to random disturbances of an input signal and parameters of the system. The difference between the responses of disturbed and undisturbed systems is studied. The selected performance index utilizes a generalized integral criterion.

The stability of a two-dimensional parallel flow has been investigated by the energy method. It was found that the flow is stable with respect to spatially periodic disturbances of the type u' = Re [.f(y, z, t) where x is the distance along the direction of the basic flow. This result holds true fo
