โœฆ Synopsis

Up to the present time very little attention has been paid to the influence that electric charge may have on the sedimentation of macroions. Except for an article by Tiselius (1) in 1932 and a preliminary study by the author (2) at the same time, no systematic investigation seems to have been made. A few papers dealing with special cases may * 1 S (Svedberg) = 1 X 10 -is c.g.s, unit.
