The possibility of obtaining high-solids-content microlatexes was investigated. It was found that, for the semicontinuous copolymerization of methylmethacrylate and butylacrylate coagulum-free 45.20% solid content latexes can be obtained through microemulsion polymerization using Dowfax 2A-1 surfact
