## Abstract **Summary:** Polyaniline (PANI)/Au composite nanotubes and nanofibers are synthesized through a self‐assembly process in the presence of camphorsulfonic acid and hydrochloric acid, as dopants, respectively. The PANI/Au composites are characterized by FT‐IR, UV‐vis, and thermogravimetric
