will outlay Yen 3.5 bn ($42.1 M) to buy 33,000 sq m of property beside its Fukui Prefecture, Japan plant for a planned facility to produce 2000 tonne/y of zirconium-based composite oxide for automotive-exhaust-cleaning catalysts. The new plant is expected to come online in Mar 2012. Production capability at the Fukui plant, which presently stands at 2500 tonne/y, mostly for the production of electronic components, will be increased to 3000 tonne/y by end-FY 2011.
