The ally1 group is shown to be orthogonal to the most comnonly used phosphate protecting groups.

In some cases, the ally1 and ollyloxycarbonyl groups may be selectively cleaved, under palladium-catalysis, in the presence of the propargyl and proporgyloxycarbonyl groups.
