Abstract
Phytochemical investigations of the stems and leaves of the Chinese mangrove Excoecaria agallocha L. yielded one new secoatisaneβtype diterpenoid, agallochaol C (1), three new isopimaraneβtype diterpenoids, agallochaols DβF (2β4), along with four known diterpenoids 5β8. The structures of new compounds 1β4 were determined on the basis of spectroscopicβdata interpretation and chemical evidence.
