โœฆ Synopsis

This patent describes a device for use as part of a centrifuge for biological samples. It is designed to allow fluid passage into and out of individual chambers of the centrifuge and provide thorough emptying of the chambers. It uses what are described as face seals but from the limited detail provided these appear to be radial port plates similar in principal to those of an axial piston hydraulic pump.
