Simple strip type enzyme electrodes prepared from platinised Vulcan XC-72 carbon particles using silk screen printing techniques are described. Such electrodes combine the efficient electrocatalytic activity of metal microparticles with the attractive features of mass produced screen printed sensors. Immobilisation of glucose oxidase to the surface of the particles allows coupling of the biocatalytic reaction with the electrocatalytic oxidation of the liberated peroxide, thus providing a sensor for glucose with a detection limit of 2 X lo-' M.

## Abstract The effectiveness of attaching flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) via a C bridge to Teflonโ€bonded carbon black (CB), and the subsequent immobilization of glucose oxidase on the FADโ€modified electrodes has been studied by cyclic voltammetry. When FAD alone is bound to the electrode, it un

Copper-plated screen-printed carbon electrode (CuSPE) provides a suitable catalytic surface for the amperometric detection of hydrogen peroxide. Glucose oxidase (GOD) is immobilized on the top of the CuSPE to form a glucose sensor. The interaction of copper oxide with GOD was found to be an importan
