Seheurer-Kestner has reported some experiments with Koerting blowers under various conditions of temperature and pressure~ The greater the pressure in the generator, the greater is the useful effect of the vapor. In one experiment, with a boiler pressure of 5 kilogrammes (11"02 lbs.), temperature of the gaseous mixture 31"1 ยฐ (88 ยฐ F.), temperature' of surrounding air 22"3 ยฐ ~72"1 ยฐ F.), 8"6 per cent. of vapor carried 91"4 per cent. of air.--BuU, de la 8o~.
