As reported in the Financial Times recently, T&N, the automotive components and engineering group, is selling Goetze Elastomere, its German engine seal subsJm,ry, to SKF, a manufacum~ of mUer bearings.
The Swedish Group is understood to be paying more than ยฃ20m for the Cologne-based ~ which T&N inherited in 1993 after acquiring Goetze, the German piston ring manufacturer.

## Abstract Aim of this study is the analysis of the price responsiveness of demand for cigarettes and loose tobacco in Germany over the period 1991โ2006. In this period the average consumption of all kinds of cigarettes per capita (German population โฅ 15 years) declined from 634 pieces/quarter to
strong incentive to industry to replace dangerous chemicals with safer ones. The agreement presents to our citizens a chance for a healthier life and a safer environment.
