The energy of 500 keV quoted in our paper [1] for the 8 -isomer in 122 Cs seems to be incorrect. We quoted this value from the 8th edition of the Table of Isotopes (1996). In the 1998 and 1999 updated editions of the Table of Isotopes, however, the adopted value is 76 Β± 24 keV that was quoted from R

β¦ Synopsis
Excited states of the 122 Cs nucleus have been studied by in-beam Ξ³ -ray spectroscopy with the 109 Ag( 16 O, 3n) 122 Cs fusion-evaporation reaction at a beam energy of 80 MeV. Ξ³ -Ξ³ coincidence and Ξ³ -Ξ³ angular correlation analyses were employed for determining the level scheme of 122 Cs. We have determined the spin of the Οh 11/2 β Ξ½h 11/2 quasiparticle band with spin inversion structure and the negative-parity band with strongly coupled structure. These two rotational bands are found to be built on the same high-spin isomeric 8 -state at 500 keV. In addition, three rotational bands have been newly identified in the present work.
