✦ Synopsis

Seventeen rotational transitions up to 1L*= 7 of the NH2 radical in its ground vibronic state have been measured by far infrared laser magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Analysis of the Zeeman patterns and hyperfine structure yrelds precise rotational, spin-rotational and distortion parameters, and isotropic and anisotropic hyperfime interaction parameters for bqth 14N and ' H nucIei.

Observations of the rotational spectrum of BrO have been extended to include vibrational levels up to v ϭ 8 in the X 1 2 ⌸ 3/ 2 and v ϭ 7 in the X 2 2 ⌸ 1/ 2 states. The rotational spectra of isotopically enriched Br 18 O, X 1 , v ϭ 0, 1 and X 2 , v ϭ 0 have been observed as well. The spectra of all

The origin bands of the B 'E"-2 'A; transition of both NH3 and ND, have been observed via the two-photon resonance enhancement they provide to the multiphoton ionisation spectra of these molecules. Spectral analysis, which was greatly aided by the use of controlled molecular beam expansion technique

## Abstract CCl~2~ free radicals were produced by a pulsed dc discharge of CCl~4~ in Ar. Ground electronic state CCl~2~(X) radicals were electronically excited to the A^1^B~1~ (0,4,0) vibronic state with an Nd:YAG laser pumped dye laser at 541.52 nm. Experimental quenching data of excited CCl~2~(A^
