## Abstract The present study investigates the effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) on mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) activity in human lens epithelial (HLE) cells. Irradiation of HLE cells with ultraviolet B and ultraviolet C radiation activates the stress‐response MAPK proteins, p38 an
