Acid hydrolysis of 2,4,6‐Tris(aminoalkenyl)‐1,3,5‐triazines 1 gives 4‐amino‐5‐aryl‐2‐benzylpyrimidines 3 by ring transformation including elimination of amine, formic acid, and carboxylic acid.
