## Abstract Die Polymerisation von 2,5‐Dioxo‐1,3‐oxathiolan (**1a**) mit verschiedenen tertiären Aminen wird untersucht. Die Wirksamkeit der Katalysatoren hängt ausschließlich von ihrer Basizität ab. Eine CH‐Deprotonierung beim Monomeren wird als Startreaktion, eine anionisch ringöffnende Polymeri
