β¦ Synopsis
We would like to announce the availability of the Richard M. Goodman Fellowship open to an Israeli scientist or physician interested in pursuing advanced methodologies to study a genetic disorder which disproportionately affects Jews.
One fellowship of $15,000 will be awarded annually by the National Foundation for Jewish Genetic Diseases. It will allow the Fellow to choose a research center in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or another country in which to pursue innovative research on some aspect of disorders which occur more frequently in Jewish people.
The goal of the fellowship is to provide support for young faculty at the beginning of their research careers. Thus, applications are encouraged only for faculty members at the junior level. The period of training should be for a minimum of three months, preferably six months, or for an academic year. The money will be available after January 1,1992. The Fellowship will not be renewable.
Application procedure.The application should consist of the following.
