Radio

-frequency air plasma treatments of Ti-6-4 and Co-Cr implants increased surface wettability but concurrently increased ionic release. In vitro tissue culture experiments demonstrated no enhancement of cell growth and enrichment. Short-term rabbit tibia1 implants also showed no difference between treated and untreated implants.
