## Abstract Pyrrolizidine alkaloid (PA) clivorine, isolated from traditional Chinese medicinal plant __Ligularia hodgsonii__ Hook, has been shown to induce apoptosis in hepatocytes via mitochondrial‐mediated apoptotic pathway in our previous research. The present study was designed to observe the p
