โœฆ Synopsis

A case of reticulum cell sarcoma of the breast in a 48-year-old woman and a review of 12 other cases in the Japanese literature are presented. Three patients were living and well more than 18 months after surgery, but the clinical course was usually rapid and fatal. Radiation therapy as a supplemental treatment of reticulum cell sarcoma of the breast is recommended.

This is the third reported case of a patient with this disease i n whom autopsy examination was performed. Twenty reported instances of malignant lymphoma primary in the uterus were found in addition.
